Bing Predicts had a 10-6 record for Week 16 of the 2015 NFL season

Week 16 of the 2015 NFL season had its share of upsets, but Microsoft’s Bing Predicts engine managed to record a solid 10-6 record in picking the correct outcomes of the games in the past week.

Microsoft said:

“Bing Predicts was 10-6 in Week 16, missing a handful of in-division upsets which included losses by Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Seattle, all of whom were largely expected to win given their more urgent need to do so over opponents out of the playoff race.”

60% of Siri searches end up on Bing

Microsoft continues to eat into Google’s search market share in USA, with 32.1% of searches in USA being made on Bing, up from 28% last year (Google is down from 68.2 to 64.8%).

Cortana in Windows 10 has been part of Microsoft’s strategy for success, but one of Microsoft’s secret weapons is that they power searches on Siri on iOS also.
